For a traveller who likes to see something typical, we believe that Sri Lanka will be an ideal destination and this description would definitely help you to have a general image of this beautiful Island…..and at the beginning we would like to quote how George Bernard Shaw described this little Island…

“ Ceylon is the cradle of the human race because everyone there looks an original……”

Further other distinguished visitor “Marco Polo” declared that Ceylon is “ undoubtedly the finest island of its size in all the world ” among the wonderful descriptions of Sri Lanka some visitors said the Paradise is not far away from Sri Lanka and you may even hear the sound of the fountains of Paradise…….

Monsoon Rains………

Though you can visit Sri Lanka throughout the year, we must give you proper information about the weather pattern of this little island. Specially you should know how monsoon breaks and how strong the rain falls in different regions. As an example the finest time of the year for the western side of the island is December to March; there may be occasional showers but most days are sunny and temperate with the thermometer around 27 C. Between April and July it becomes humid and generally unpleasant in the West, but on the other side of Sri Lanka behind a barrier of mountains up to two thousand metres high and in the dry zone, the weather will be fine, thanks to these mountains ,in Sri Lanka we have two monsoons and two different climate less than three hundred kilometers across.

Horizon Voyages sincerely suggest you to come to this heavenly island, discover it one day and be seeds of Adam………
