To admire the island’s nature in a short period, we presume Adventure
with Horizon will definitely suit your requirement. This tour allows you
to rest in Colombo in the first day and view the island’s capital.
The next day visit Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela on your way to Habarana.
On the arrival quick check-in and thereafter, visit Polonnaruwa in the
afternoon, reserving time for the Sigiriya climb on the following day
morning. The other important World Heritage sites that you can visit are
Dambulla and Kandy. After Kandy, you will be heading towards Nallathanniya
for your exciting climb of Adams Peak where you can see many devotees,
make their pilgrimage to the Peak. Aim of the most of the devotees is
to reach the Peak before sun rising to admire ‘sun’s blessing’
early morning.
Your next stop will be in a small town called Nuwaraeliya and very commonly
known as “little England”, situated at the foot step of island’s
highest mountain Pidurutalagala.
Before reaching to the Airport your final night stay is in Kitulgala and
on the day that you are arriving there you will be able to do short trekking
in the vicinity jungle.
